From student to specialist: The academic foundation

Dr. Theodorakopoulos medical journey began at the University of Brescia, Italy, where he earned his Medical Degree. His academic pursuits continued with a Bachelor’s thesis on the orthopedic aspects of osteoporosis. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for his expertise in diagnostic imaging.

Diverse experience in medical practice

After graduation, Dr. Theodorakopoulos served in agricultural medical service in Alexandria, Veria, and completed a year of internal medicine residency at the General Hospital of Veria, gaining valuable experience in emergency medicine. He then ventured into private ambulatory medical services before joining the diagnostic center “Panagia" at Veria. His career progressed significantly as he became part of the radiology department at G.H. ‘Papageorgiou,’ where he successfully completed his residency and was appointed as a Consultant B’ in ultrasound and pediatric radiology for five years. He continued at G.H of Veria for four years, as a consultant B' and later A' gaining valuable experience in general and emergency radiology.

Dr. Theodorakopoulos dedication to his field is reflected in his specialized roles and continuous professional development. He served as a Radiology Consultant B’ at G.H. ‘Papageorgiou’ and subsequently as a Radiology Consultant B’ and A’ at G.H. Veria. His expertise spans ultrasound radiology, breast radiology, and teleradiology, with upcoming roles at Biomedicine Ermou Thessaloniki and Polyclinic “Ygeia” Limassol Cyprus . Additionally, he holds a  Master’s degree in Clinical and Chirurgical Anatomy- Applied Anatomy, a Certificate of Advanced Training in Management and Health Economics and an ICMART Certificate as an acupuncture doctor.
